THE PROBLEM OF CREATIVE PERSONALITY FORMING IN PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH

Abstract

Background. Nowadays, pedagogy is very interested in human creative potential. Educators seek to develop creativity of future experts and their ability to effectively apply professional knowledge and skills. However, different researcher from different fields of science note that human creativity hasn’t been studied up to the end. The purpose of the study is to identify the characteristics of a creative personality and creativity development factors.
Materials and methods. The research objectives were implemented through studying scientific psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of de-velopment of a creative personality. The author analyzed research works about qualities of a creative personality (B. G. Ananyev, A. M. Matyushkin, L. S. Podymova, V. A. Slastenin, E. P. Torrance etc.); motivational characteristics of creativity (E. Bono, E. S. Rapatsevich, K. Rogers, V. Y. Apogolize, K. Jung etc.); the self-concept of a creative personality (V. I. Andreev, E. D. Bespanskaya, T. A. Barysheva, S. A. Novoselov, L. S. Popova etc.); relationships and creativity (B. M. Teplov, S. L. Rubinstein etc.); the influence of environment on development of creativity (V. N. Druzhinin, D. Simonton etc.).
Results. The article presents the analysis of the literature on formation of a creative personality, as well as reveals the characteristics of creative individuals, factors of creativity development.
Conclusions. The factors of creativity development can be the basis of organization of educational environment and activities, pedagogical methods and tools of creativity development.
